Sitting Lower

I want to sit lower, feel I'm sitting on rather than in, anyone done anything similar to JMS's solution or has anyone got any other suggestions?

is the jms solution removing the washer things? i did this and it made a huge difference. the only downside is that you cant move the seat forward or back
