Sky Line Rental

When signing up for sky tv, sky broadband & sky phone packages your asked if you wish to pay sky line rental (£11). If you already have a bt line and pay bt line rental do you need to pay the sky one as well? Is there any advantage to having sky line rental over bt line rental?

You either pay BT for line rental or you pay Sky for line rental. You don't pay both.

I don't know Sky's charges but I'd guess advantages would include cheaper call charges, free calls to other Sky users, free local calls at weekends.. That kind of thing.

The Sky website should tell you what's included.

It will mean you are going onto Sky LLU MPF. In a nutshell you line is no longer in the BT network.

Could have tv/net/phone all through sky.

Sky (Easynet) only offer SMPF afaik.
