  A blue one.
unplug the boxes and move them around.

Except Sky+ has dual inputs, so she'd need to run new cable from the LNB to where the box is going to be so that the Sky+ will work as intended.

na mate ur wrong, the low noise block is triggered by your decoder sending 13 or 18 volts to represent the Horizontal or Vertical spectrum, the high and low bands are represented by a 22khz signal being sent to the low noise block. all you need is a splitter.

Should be easy enough just to run one more feed from the LNB to the bedroom! you've already got one feed in there. Or just lengthen one from the lounge into the bedroom!

:)

Splitter doesnt work! You need special bit of kit to do it in which you would take 2 LNB feeds into a combiner then down one coax into the splitter then off into two!

Ok, it is my job to transmit television, so it means its my job to watch it for a living. During the day all the football matches, during the evening p**n - cool nerd now!

It is the most asked question by everyone, you can get a splitter but you will not be able to record whilst watching TV, this is fine if you want to just record programmes you are not around for. If not you want to watch one programme and record another you with either need to install a 2 phase quad LNB or runn the cable form its previous to new location. Basicly it will work, but it all depends how u want it to.

Which kind of defeats the whole point of Sky+.

Hence why a splitter won't work. You need dual feeds, unless both transponders are on the same polarization and high or low frequency.

Basically, it'll be s**t. She needs a new cable.

I want proper sky+ in the bedroom and basic sky in living room. so I think il just get someone who knows what there doing to do it. But I need a new sky+ box my old one is dying a death

Cancel and re-subscribe? Not sure if we did this, but somehow we got a new box and dish installed for whatever the new customer rate was at the time - although this may have been when we changed from sky to sky+, but still got a new dish. Worth a google though.

Or alternatively, run an extra Sky feed from the dish (should be a spare feed available if you have one to the bedroom and 2 to current sky+ as they would use a LNB for four feeds) or re-route one of the sky feeds from where your sky+ box is atm. But you would need to get a new sky+ box. Not sure how much sky would charge for this but you could probably get one cheap from ebay or other sites.
