I HAVE A RENAULT CLIO 172 CUP THE BONNET CABLE BROKE IS THER ANY WAY OF GETTING BONNET OPEN FROM UNDERNEATH ALSO STARTING MOTOR SOMETIMES CLICKS A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE IT ACTUALLY TURNS ENGINE OVER

only way i know of doing it is to remove the front bumper by separating the grille from the bumper as you remove it and then wollop a screw driver into the mechanism, you might be lucky and it will have snapped at the handle end inside the car, if that's the case, then a pair of pilers and job done!
