Finally finished up for the weekend. Didn't get as much done as I hoped to, but TBH time was against me with other running about to do this weekend.
So, started yesterday at about 2PM as follows;
An image Soph took mid roof...
Then today I had to run her about for some family photo crap, nipped back, continued the polishing, picker her up again, got some food in etc etc. Finally came to about 1PM and I cracked on properly again.
I chose to use Sonus SFX-2 on a Sonus number 2 (white) pad with the DAS-6. I didn't have much means to see the swirls really in the garage, and the strip light was just showing up all the RDS that her cat leaves. So I took a punt on that combo, hoping it would be good. It's given about an 80% correction swirl wise, so not bad for a random stab at a combo lol.
I got Soph to wax it as I went round the car with the polisher, just chose to go for the Poorboys Natty's paste, as it's easy for her to apply and remove. 2 layers of that went on.
Finished up with some Fast Glass on the windows, AG Bumper care on the textured crap, and AG Tyre Care on the tyres.
Finished result...
Not bad for 9-10hours work, will definitely help it sell.
So, started yesterday at about 2PM as follows;
- Snowfoamed with Valet Pro Snow Foam
- Washed with AG Shampoo (pretty crap stuff TBH, but I've been using it a long time due to the old Halfords offers!) and wheels done with Bilberry Wheel Cleaner.
- Clayed with Bilt Hamber Clay - Was last done 2 years ago, and you could tell.
- Washed again
- Taped up
- Started on the polishing - got the roof and half the bonnet done before being bored.
