Ok, you all know i had my "engine wet lights on high revving" fiasco last week and that the "toxic fumes" or "emissions" light was on for a few days after that.....but then went off?
Right....well, yet again.....i have convinced myself that the car is driving, well.....differently.
I think....i remember reading (and i quoted it to someone on here) that fault codes....even ones stored after the light has went out, will affect how your car drives.
Can anyone confirm that?
It may explain how my car feels, erm...different.
If it helps, i also disconnected my battery for 20 minutes or so to try and clear the code (which didnt work)......but could the eco have reset parameters like driving style or fuel quality etc after this?
I managed to buy our Sash's RSTuner which should be arriving shortly so i'm looking forward to seeing whats stored there and also if i can clear them ok....I assume I can with RSTuner, right?
Any advice or thoughts appreciated chaps.
