Software problems

I am trying to open some schedules i have been sent via email. I can't do it on my computer as i have no programs on it yet. I have now come onto my dads computer and it should open using adobe? But it is installes but when i try and open the attachments it starts installing a version of adobe called 8.1.0, but then once it has finished it says that a more than suitable version is already installed or something along those lines? Could i just try saving the attachment directly to the version that i already have installed or is there a way i could open it, as all i want to do is print the schedules off?

Anyone know if i can just download adobe straight to my laptop off the internet? Thanks

Install Adobe Reader 9

Have installed this to my laptop now i just wont tell my dad that i couldn't get his to work LOL
