some journeys just make you realise why u bought an rs

Nowerr days, I just seem to end up pottering round the island as its busier and don't enjoy it as much due to the stupidly high price in petrol.

This mornin was running a bit late to drop my son at child minders so had to go to her sons school to drop him off. This meant going on the back roads on the way to work.

Was pushing it a bit as the roads were quieter and wow the rs is a fantastic cars that never bores me. If I get bored just take it on the twisties and I'm in love again.

Never had a car this long ever and not been looking to sell it.

Renalt have really done well with this car. I can actually say its the best car I've owned and I've owned and driven a few hot hatches in my time.

Anyone else feel the same?

I'd love the space to keep a 172, even after the 225 and R26 I'd still say the 172 was the best to own.

Blasting the 172 every now and then ftw.

Blasting the 172 when you've got a kiddy in the car ftl.

I know what you mean mate, I have learnt to love my car ever since i took it on some awsome roads back in july. I had fun with my soft, high suspension, 75hp and feedbackless steering.

On the other hand it did also make me think god i wish i had an RS but theres time for that.

I went for a long drive in mine at the weekend, and it put a big grin on my face. I'd gone right off it a while back, but a garage sorted all the nasty dangerous stuff out and now it's a dream to drive at last.
