The only positive side is there appears to be no cracking in the paint and it's on the door skin, which can be done by a dent man I'd imagine, so no need for repaint.
Luckily Ive pulled most of it out myself with a sucker tool I bought a few years ago. Just needs a small one popping out from the inside so I'll take the door card off on the weekend. Will teach me to park in town on student night
Ouch! Gutted for you mate. Can't have anything nice anymore, my previous car was 20 seconds away from being lifted onto a low loader by 2 guys. Extremely lucky that my neighbour caught them in the act. Hope you get it sorted fella!

If it was in town, go back and see if anyone around has CCTV up. Maybe worth a try. May not have been vandalism. Drunk students not being able to handle their beer maybe. Fighting next to the car or falling over. Might make you feel beeter if you see someone hammered, trip, and go face first into your door.
^ good point. someone reversed in to my flame red 172 in a garage (no CCTV where I was parked) and put their tow bar through my bumper. just drove off. But a good citizen was in their car with the engine running and caught it all on their dash cam!
