Someones hit my car

Why do people do it?!

Some fudd in an ibiza has parked in the space behind my car (my car has in an end space and has been there all day, no other cars there when I parked)

And somones parked 2 cars back from me and then this fudd has parked in between, I noticed when walking back to the office there the car behind was practically touching my bumper.

So i went over to look, and draw my car forward a bit. The corner of the bumper is scratched on the surface where you'd expect it from them turning in!

I'm not even gonna bother leaving a note cause I park there everyday and am just gonna accept that 's**t happens'

probably didn't even think rubbing up against the car would be a problem, after all that's what bumpers are for, or so some people think I would have a word, hate people who do this, fortunately I don't use my car for work.

This reminded me of something that happend to, lets call him Mr X. Old woman parks next to him in car park and opens door and hits Mr X's wingmirror.

Mr X says "Do you realise what you've done, are you not even going to apologise". Needless to say old woman gave Mr X verbal and walked away.

Mr X...needless to say...let down evil womans tyre and drove off.

Can't let people think they can do just do anything... so hope you also get sorted!

From what he has said this is a paint scratch that might polish out, but that mean it wasn't hard at all. If they were listening to the Radio or some music then no, they probably wounldn't have heard it.

I'm not saying you shouldn't have left a note, i would have. I'm just surpised at everyones attitude!

I used to take my car to work but it got so many scratches whilst in the car park I'm quite glad I get the train in now. Some people have no respect for others property.

The driver behind you may have parked really carefully and has done nothing.

Not true, the force and direction of impact in this case means taht as soon as the two surfaces touch the body movement of the car would asorbe it.

So if you don't feel it, and can't hear it for having the radio on or something, you wouldn't them see it.

lol at the thread, the car was about 1" from my tail pipes, fairly obvious it was this car!

I washed my car on Sunday and there were no scratches then

No call yet, I've got a 1mm drill bit in the hand drill ready for the sump if I don't get a phonecall today, I'll see the car again (only kidding by the way, I'm not gonna do that....)

This is one thing that really gets to me too, i park so carefully.. normally away from others, but somehow.. some way, people still park right next to me.. as close as they can!
At work is the worst, had my old (spotless) clio dented by the door of a car that was parked too close to mine.. not alot you can do really.. apart from recreate the damamge on their's (aslong as your sure about it ;-)

I've seen it soo many times at work, people getting out of their cars, they're door swings & hits the car next to it. They don't even bat an eyelid & just carry on getting they're gear & going into work... a**holes. normally people with old scratched up cars too!

But when i drive my work van & park it anywhere it never does?.... i'm gonna have to start not caring about my own car!
