No way its worth 20k its a static display model even if you got American permit to fly for it you'd need to follow military servicing after all its not a play thing trying just to keep up to date so your not a liability to yourself would be difficult the military arn't in the habit of renting out trailers to learn on and no insurance place would ever touch you unless you were type rated with experiance.

Someone got ripped of if they said its worth £20k you might get them if you strip it down to the last nut and bolt and have proven history.

Best off buying an old jet liner least you get more for your money £60k will get you most stuff. If you ask about you can get them for almost free with certain conditions attached.

Inactive isn't difficult just leve it rust not realy an issue if you wanted you could just seal up all the holes and joints.

£1milliosn is a rip off must have had somehting going for it still servicable you can pick them up for next to nothing.
