Sony & Kenwood

I have an MP3 Sony CD changer, connected to a connect2 unit to a Sony headunit. Was looking to get a Kenwood headunit. I want to keep both display and steering controls. Can someone please tell me if this is poss, and if so whats the best plan!

Kenwood do an actual headunit that slots straight in, no adapters, and you keep your steering wheel controls and display.

the controls for the sony unit will not work with the kenwood unit

the best plan is to get a new alpine unit, which will work with the steering contrls and display, solving all the problems, plus they look far better than most other units, and have a far superior sound quality
