Sound Card -> Headphone output

Want to wire up the headphone socket built into my case to a sound blaster live digital 5:1 card.

Am i using the CD audio conector or Aux connector (internal connectors)?

u want to wire up the headphone socket (input)...to a 5.1 digital card....so surely u want to hook it up to the headphone input off there? don't get what ur trying to do mate.

He's trying to use the headphone socket on the PC CASE (some cases have Mic, Headphone and Line out on the front of them) rather than the standard 3.5mm jacks on the card itself.

Edit - Just double checked to make sure but I don't think it's possible with the Soundblaster live. The front 3.5mm jacks are normally intended for use with onboard sound and connect to the motherboard rather than a sound card.
