Spacers

Getting to the stage where my replica needs some spacers as my wheels are just completely over shadowed by my wider arches now. what size do people usually use? got 17" low profile tyres atm but soon to be replaces by some f1's soon, dont know if that changes the size of the spacer or if i can use the same spacer on these.

people tend to go for 25mm on the fronts with turinis/standard 172 wheels but it depends on the f1s offset and how you want it to look tbh
imo get the oz wheels on, get the tracking ect set up to factory settings and measure the arch to tyre gap and buy the biggest you can get on

25mm with OZ F1's would be ok. I've had 15mm on with standard wings and they dont sit very far out. Offset 43 iirc.

no i dont work at the airport mate,
there are a few black gts knocking about in manchester but the mrs uses the car mostly as ive got a company van and work away alot..
you will have seen me at the nw meets if you attend them?? however i wont be at the next due to being in cornwall :-(

Thought I would post in here rather than start a new thread, bet there are 100's already.

Anyway I want some spacers for my 04 1.2. It's lowered 40mm on 172 wheels and I have standard wings, I know I need hubcentrics but what size do you recon for front and rear?

I'm a bit if a noob to spacers, I have seen some that seem to be stud conversions and others that are not. Just need a bit of advise

You need to measure the gap between the outer edge of the tyre and the inside of the arch at the smallest point - and still leave some clearance so the wheel can move lol
