been looking around and these seem quite a good price and seem to get good reviews.

its a toughy id choose alpine but im biased

Phoenix Gold, I like Alpine but their speakers arent up to much imo

Yeah they arent the worst around but there is better for the money. I do really like Alpine HU so Ive got one and a 4 channel amp to run the speakers

I have Alpine SP-R 2 way comp. at the front, and they sound very good imo. Nice and clear sound, and nothing I could set a bad finger on. But they also got a nice 2 ch. V12 amp. of power but sounded almost as good with only the H/U.

Will defo recomend type-R speakers if you wan´t very clear and smooth sound and good quality. Haven´t heard the type-S so can´t comment on them.

well i have just used that company and can tell you it took two weeks to get my hu, they sent the wrong one twice and had to collect it again, also convinced me to buy a lead i didnt need.

My advice, dont go to this company, they dont give a sh*t once they have your money and customer service is a completely alien concept to them.
