Specs of original V6 rims

What is the offset for the Mk1 V6 rims? How about Mk2 rims?

I am still deciding to get 17's or 18's. Will 225 40 18 fit the front? Or will it be scraping my fender linings?

i have 225 35 18 and even they hit

They are hitting the inside right? I use 215 45 17 on original rims and they scrape inside sometimes, but I am planning to use a 10mm spacer with the 18inch rims

I have 215 40 18 on my Mk1 and they are fine. 255 35 18 rear

won't the spacer increase the arc the wheel turns through and increase the problem on full lock?

I am more worried about the scraping when moving. When at full lock, the car is at low speeds, so it wont hurt that much.

I am wanting to it 19's


any one know what tyre sizes front and back i need as well as appropriate offsets for the mk 1 v6?

I know a guy with the white leather retrim has 19's and so did r-tec on their v6.

Would the suspension need sorting too? i rung r-tec and they said theirs was not lowered! ..??? on 19's?

19" front 205 35 19 =626.1
