Are you saying you are taking the needles off the dials or you are taking the whole dials cluster off. The cluster just clicks back in to place doesnt it with two pivot points at the top and a screw at the bottom.

Sorry that probably wasn't clear enough, umm I mean just the red lines, I've taken the plastic surround off for spraying and obviously knocked the dials about while doing it, just wondering where they go, position wise
 
Connect the dash up and turn the ignition on and off, should put them back in the right position. Keep doing this and removing the needles to adjust them till they look right to you. You'll figure it out :smile:

Be wary of the temp gauge though - I can't remember if it's a steeper-motor on the Clio. On my Honda is a bi-metal strip which will break if you dick about with it.
