Speedo working again!!!!!

£20 for the new part and 3 points, a £60 fine later I have a working speedo again!

Hasn't worked for a year and has only done 1300 miles in the last year (it only worked sometimes when it felt like it lol).

Didn't realise would be so easy to change lol! oh well!

my whole dashboard failed for a few months.
MOT came round and thought this is gonna cost me a bombb at a garage.
found out i could get a replacement dash from a scrappy for £20, fitted myself
sorted ha

mot passed too

its a good feeling enit haha

I needed a gear box sensor. Its really strange driving with a working speedo! HA!

Why did you get 3 points and a fine for that? From speeding? Not from it not working?

gearbox speedos are common to fail on mk2 ph1s, easy fix though

from speeding. lol.

doesn't really work when you don't know how fast 40 is without a speedo
