not so sure on the downsize engine claim though, if you need to take meat off the crank/cam and casing to fit the wider bearing profile in then surely this is going to lead to weakness. so if anything engine itself may have to get bigger to accommodate. depends on peak loads on the crank etc I guess, but I'm no physicist
