why does it seem like products are more expensive for the clio and return less power gains than other cars??

Surley this would be a cheaper way of gaining 22bhp than Full exhaust, induction + chip? and less visible to Renault.

what are the clio prices for this and can we expect the same performance as shown on the link?? i should be possible both are 2.0 and that is just a standard 147. autodelta claim a whole second off 0-60 for their 147s, i expect thats more possible given the lower weight of my clio172 compared to 2.0 147

I believe Hillpower have tried a Group N ECU/cam kit on a 172 Cup.... sounds much the same...

yup but i have a 172 not cup so is there anywhere else? and what price... this seems like a top way of increasing power for not much money £995 isnt bad for 22bhp although if you have a turbo then for £500 you can get the same results, but whos complaining its still more descreet than exhaust + chip induction panel filter combo and you can get the same results if not better.. all that lot would cost more than £995 anyway and Renault wouldnt be able to tell that easily although its necessary for a remap once cams are in place so they could look at the ECU but thats a risk we all take isnt it, a Zorst and bright red induction kit is far less subtle....

So still no answers then

I dont know of any kit as such available....but each part is available fine.

well, the 147 as std doesnt make the same power or emply the same design parameters so really isnt comparable.

The cams on teh 172 are chill cast and hollow so cost more than normal cams and not everybody can get the blanks to work off.

Cams are available from piper or cat cams, but i dont know the price and its not my place to do research or you.

Will they remap the ECU, sure, if you go to a place that can and you ask them or they recommend it to you.

And exact power figure.....and no varies questions....well thats quite a question! how about x bhp.

But do you really need cams at this point, youll be far better off improving flow and using the std cams as youll gain no real power and just loose some torque running the std inlet manifold.

I really think your outlook on tuning is really warped........its never as simple as your expecting it to be.
