Standard head unit swap

My head unit has decided it doesn't want to eject my CDs so I need to replace it. I read that some of the newer units support auxiliary inputs so ideally would like one. Is it a straight swap? Or can I only replace with the same style I currently have? Mine is from a 53 cup and is a 'tuner list'

Any input would be appreciated!

Yeah that's it mate. Buy the same stereo you have. Make sure it's textured or smooth depending on what yours is.

That adapter works with tuner and update list, plugs into the multi changer socket on the back of the stereo and then you put your stereo on the multichanger option. I've got one and had it for years, good bit of kit.

New radio and the connects2 thing and you're sorted :)

Thinking about it, I won't need to replace my head unit as the CD player/HU still work but it just doesn't eject?

Thanks for the help mate, will get that part ordered now!
