starter motor location



  Iceberge cup,mito tb
long story short, car wont start, not turn over etc. so searched on here and looks like it might be a sticky starter motor. anyone got a picture of where it is in the engine bay, so i can give it a "tap" !

It's straight down at the front of the bay, kinda behind the numberplate area.

It's not going to be easy if it needs changing though, space is minimal down there!

thanks bud, still having trouble though, an actual picture of an engine bay with it ringed will help loads if anyone has one

cant check really bit hard with snow etc with the place car is in drive way, could prob
drive it out but a nightmare to push it
 
It's down the back of the block near the manifold, it's abit of a pain even trying to tap it. I used a long thin bolster chisel to tap it when mine was playing up.

Back of the engine, cabin side. Between engine and gearbox. Below exhaust mani.

I always thought it was at the front of the engine.

cheers guys, got it to start, just gave it a wack in that direction while my dad tried to start it. working fine now starting with the key
