Yet another problem with my crappy piece of s**t from renault!
This time...
My car won't start! Its been playing up for about 2 weeks. I turn the key and sod all happens except for my little red light flashes on the dash. (immobiliser)
Then sometimes it will try to turn over but just won't start... I think the renault dealers are s**t (personal opinion) and don't like taking my car there so i booked it in with a place called camco 88 from what i have heard they are a very good respectable company.
Anyway, i get the car towed there lol and they get in and.... it starts, first time and again and again. They leave it over nite and its starts again, so by now im getting pretty pissed off!!!
Anyway they have had a diagnostic on it and its coming up that theres an errer with the key (blatenly obvious its this anyway)
I think it, 2ppl i know with same problem think it, 1 RAC mechanic said it, the guys at renault said it, camco 88 said it hell even my dog said it.
So...
New key from renault
2 hours labour
diagnostic test (or whatever its called)
remap of the key
188 pounds (including V.A.T)
renault wanted about 245 and it needs doing.
Wonder what will go wrong next month
