Steam problems?

My steam stopped working a few days ago when I was trying to play Football Manager it kept coming up with game currently unavailable.

I tried to follow some troubleshooting online which didn't work. I have tried to delete steam but somehow it won't let me. I have tried to uninstall my game but now it won't let me reinstall it.

Anyone had a problems how did you resolve them? Also anyone got a link to the official steam download I can't seem to find one.

Any idea why it won't let you reinstall the game?

There was a Steam client update yesterday. But if you say it happened a few days ago, then that probably doesn't apply.

Have you checked the integrity of the games' cache? If you right click on the game in the Library and goto Properties, there's a tab called Local Files. In there you can verify the integrity of the games' cache.
