steering rack type

i have a 2004/54 182 which needs a new rack just wondering if there are different types?

why does it need a new rack? that's rare! they're all SMI (172 + 182 cup pack has longer track rods than a normal 172/182)

thanks fred making loads of noise when turning more right than left its like a creaking sort of noise but very loud
