Stereo help...

  BMW E92/Audi S3
Basically I've got a standard headunit and the code is at the top of it (On a label) I've managed to permanently lock the f**king thing now because I've been putting the code in constantly as I've been determined that the code was correct but the Radio was wrong LOL..

When I put the code it, it just bleeps at me saying "CODE"

Wtf do I do now?

go for a drive mate... It doesn't remain locked its just a time out period. Will free its self after about 20 mins and allow you to enter the code again.

Nah mate. It has actually been stuck on code. I drove the car for an hour and 15 minutes the other day with the stereo on (On CODE) and it was still locked :S :(

i had this same problem on my brothers 1.4 sport model clio, in the end we figured out that you had to disconect the stereo from it's power supply to reset the unit, then it lets you try again but remember that you have to press a certain button and hold it after entering the code for it to accept it, on my brothers car he had the scroll wheel under the fingertip control panel so we entered the numbers with the wheel and after each number we had to hold the button under the fingertip controller to accept that number.....my 182 doesn't have this wheel and i'm not sure yours will either but the principle should remain the same.
