Stereo lead

I have a cable with a yellow connector on the end just hanging loose be hind my stereo??

Any body have ideas to what it's for??

The lead is labelled as:

I'll try up loading a picture in a bit, there are two connector that's fit together to the two of the CD player, but this one seems redundant?? Or could it the steering control cable? Help!?!?

oh I forgot to mention its not the stock stereo it's a kenwood stereo that came with the car when I brought it.

Thats my iPod cable. Why don't you trace where the wire goes?

The yellow one is my CD player, if you have an aftermarket one, that cable could be redundant now and left unplugged
