Sticking seats

Did a search for this but came up with nothing.

Mk2 172 52 plate with 1 yrs warranty left:

The front seats are sticking in the runners when letting passengers in and out. Sometimes they slide back ok, but other times they stay forward when the seat comes back down, or you have to physically push it back by the front of the seat when you let it back down.

Anyone had this before? Would this be covered under warranty and would they care that Ive just bought the car if it was a warranty job?

I had something similar on my previous clio. When you moved the seat forward to let someone in the back, the seat never ever went back to its previous position. Used to give the passenger hell of a shock 5 minutes later when the seat finally clicked back into position.

I just lived with it as the car was just out of warranty when I had it.
