strange steering

this is a bit weird. if i am going down the road in a strait line and the steering wheel is strait then i take a sharpish left turn. when i get back on a strait, my steeing wheel is still as if i am turning left. but the same happens if turning right too:S. what the hell would that be:dead:

Worn shocks maybe? My steering is feeling alive lately too. Not sure what to do about it.

found out what it was. under the car, there is 2 bolts that go into the subframe that are to do with the steering rack and one of them was just about to fall out so i tighted it back up and that solved the problem.

Sometimes my stearing sounds a bit loud like a dull hum, any ideas whats up. Its only intermittant....
