Stripping Interior

People have any of you stripped the interior out of your Cups, any idea how much weight could be saved by getting rid of most of it.

Most people havent gone further than stripping the seats, parcel shelf and toolkit out.... soooooo

This is your chance to do it good and proper, do the works, all plastic body trim, door cards off and replace with perspex cut to fit, roof lining, carpets and any sound deadening out.... etc etc etc.....

Then tell us how much it weights, Ill be looking at this once mines done..... whenever that may be.

Hey roamer Ive done this with my Astra GTE, its made a massive difference to the performance, it will take the Cup out with ease in a race to 60, I even went as far as taking the grinder to any spare metal knocking about.

The astra is bloody loud inside though, dont think I can justify stripping the cup that much.

Do you know the name of the company that prepare the Cup racers.
