Struggling start

Afternoon all,

Girlfriend has got a Clio 1.2 dynamique.

When she starts it it starts but it seems to struggle for a few seconds. She has had new plugs, leads etc.

The revs seem to drop then up then drop then up. Only for a few seconds though.

Any ideas what it could be?

mine does the same

i had a new tdc and it got better, getting bad again now

TDC?? Costly or not?

Is it affecting your performance aswell. Sometimes when she has it floored the car doesn't seem to go anywhere. I know it's only a 1.2 but it was nippier before.

sorry i meant tdc sensor, wasnt expensive at all, £50 fitted but i think it just needed a clean

as far as i am aware its a common problem

Any ideas if it's easy to do as do most work on mi car miself.
