Havent got them personally, but was looking this up to see if it was worth it, from what I read, people who had them could tell a difference especially on the rear.

I thought the rear one would be a waste of money?. Front one minimul difference, look good though lol. If there cheap enough get one.

Its rare that you get a major difference. We did some back to back tests with a few Peugeot's with top strut braces and found you got better traction when the cars suspension had to cope with changes in camber such as roundabout exits. I had offered that if none worked I would take them back. No-one took them off :D I think the rear clio one would just look nice as the clio is a trailing arm setup and there is unlikely to be heavy sideways loads through the top of the rear dampers. Its not attached to the chassis so I doubt it can act as a strenghening of that either. I've not tried it yet to see if I can tell its there...one day i'll bolt one on..

I've put a pair on mine and I was quite suprised at how much difference they made, the front one more so. A good mod for the money IMO.... they're only cheap.
Plus, as previously said, they look good :)

Alot of people on here will say they're a waste of money and don't work but,
I have a rear strut brace and I noticed a difference straight away,
when I first ditched the back seats and spare wheel the back became alot lighter, I got use to how it felt but when I fitted the rear brace,
I took the car through a series of bends I drove every day and the back felt more stable and less spongy,
this could just be because the rubber top mounts on the rear dampers were softer than others
and the brace stops them from moving around too much.

I also met a member at a meet that had a front strut brace fitted and asked him if it made a real
difference, he said it did and he went on regular track days so he drove his car hard quite often.

But hey, everyone feels different things in different cars.

Upper rear ones are pointless. All they do is connect the two rear struts together so they can both shove each other about while slopping about in the rubber top mount. They brace neither the shell nor do anything to isolate the strut movement in the body of the car.

I didn't notice anything in mine on the rear until I pulled the rubber mounts off then fixed it straight to the strut tops

nope they attach to the actual suspension struts, not the body
i know they do because the rubber bits on top of the struts are too big. If you take them off it allows the strut brace to go over the strut mounts and can be bolted down tightly thus attached to the strut mounts and the struts themselves.

Make your own, weld it in, and create a plate for the third or more point to the bulkhead.
