With the flamer

Gave her a quick wash, touched up on some chips on the door edges etc & tested Wolfs 'The Mask' which aparently dries to a hard shell & protects from stone chips etc. Seems the more I clean her the more chips I find! :(

The Wolfs Mask - I didn't want to spray it over the front end as It was hot & Im a wuss! :p

Test on the wing

Sprayed on & left for 15-20 mins. Took some time to dry but It did & left no marks or smearing. Left the body smooth too.

Still a million things I want to do to her. Like the wheels need refurbing, the front end needs a respray & the faded grey plastics need spraying satin black asap!

cheers buddy! I'll spray some on the front end tomorrow. Be good If It did work! Really need it on the vee too, both are covered in chips now :(

Both look very tidy, love the v6.

So this 'The mask', does it leave a clear coat over the chip? i.e. just clear soaking into the primer so no water can get in etc? (still showing the chip) or does it hide the chip?

cheers guys, the vee is lovely but she attract trouble! :( Had so many t@!&s try & race etc, plus the roads need to be smooth to enjoy her, they aren't here! Also I really worry about her, leaving her anywhere etc, she isn't stress free like the 172! But, I do love her

Used to hate V6's but since I brought my 172 would have one any day! Especially if it was as clean and looked like yours, both cars look mint!

Love them both.

The Vee would look soooooo much better on it's standard silver wheels though. :dapprove:

fantastic cars, and you re looking after them very well!
the vee gets me every time, utter awe

can I put the wolf thing on top of wax, sealant etc?

cheers

Mildly disappointed given the topic title. Thought it was a euphemism.

Both cars look lovely though. Love Flamers in general and Vee's... Well, Vee's always look special.

flol, cheers boys :)

I have decided against the wolfs stuff, I noticed it left abit of a patch where it was & you can feel it when its on. I will have another go at applying it in the hangar out of the sunlight. I don't think you can apply a wax on top, it also has to go on clean paintwork.
