Superchips

  Seat Leon Cupra 290
Ive always been very sceptical of this company, but looking on there website, they say they give a 10bhp increase for the 172 and have a graph to prove it, is this just fabricated or has anyone had any good expereinces from them?

You won't get 10hp from them. 2~3 at best. There graphy might be 10hp but it might also have had a load of modifications and was running lean before they stuck the map on. On a stock engine it won't get 10hp.
R-sport ECu's you need to ring R-Sport I don't have the number though to hand. The R-Sport ECU just like the superchip is an off the shelf remap so isn't perfect for ever car and every cars modifications. However its good value at £350 or so) a cumstom remap/ piggy back is looked at £500.

I agree with edde.I had a custom re-map for my fiesta and it was great. Its a blank chip and works with your engine from the start.A standard superchip is pre-programmed before fitting and may not mate to your engine properly.I had a uni-chip from aldon automotive in brierly hill for around £450.I had 130 bhp with full magnex,K+N panel and a de-cat and came away with 148 bhp and for that money it was well worth it
