surround dvd problem help

when i put a film in my player on the screen its saying cant play disc check region on disc anyone else had this thanks.

Have you checked the region on the disc !?

Google "hack" and the make and model number of your DVD player and there will be a million and one sites which show you which code to type in to make your player region free.

Not sure what the surround problem is though.
