i am looking to give my car the lowered look lol. i dont do track days and have no future plans to do any (no time to practice ) so would coilovers be worth the money? or could i get a set of springs to lower it about 40mm or will i have to go lower to notice a difference? i take it the lowering springs are a straight swap for the old ones?

I'd say just go sor a set of Eibach sportlines.

Entry lever coilovers, the Raceland ones in the other thread or KTR ones.

Or as above sportlines, but they have very little drop. Apex lower more but the ride isnt ment to be very good.

Eibachs don't really lower that much, certainly not the same drop that coilovers give.
