suspension snapped....

  Shed.
Jacked the car up yesterday.

Looked at the suspension whilst i was down there, noticed a bit off the end had snapped off. Now its only a little bit, about half of 1 coil (hope that makes sense, as the spring goes round in a circle, about half of that lol)

Thing is, the rest of the spring is fine and it looks as though the spring has just fallen into its place and is sitting as it should.

What do i do lol.....think itll fail it's MOT ?because i might just use it as an excuse to buy a set of sportlines.

I would replace to spring asap or upgrade your suspension.

Your ride height will be different at the moment.

well i had them replaced when i got the clio a year or so ago. TBH i think the springs are crap.

The front drivers side. I was cleaning my breaks, the disks are almost dead now and squeak terribly, and i noticed the part of the spring sticking out in an abnormal way.

i WAS contemplating some new springs for the front and i wasnt sure about the back as the look like shitty shoccers. and some for the back. Was thinking Some sportlines but then i planned to take them off when i get (if i get) my new clio. but then all ill have is a set of shitty springs which need replacing.

They'll have been skipped by then! Postage I would imagine being between £5 and £8 as they're quite heavy. Upto you?
