swirl marks

got a silver clio and i am stressed out cant get the swirl marks out whats the best product and whats the best teqnique circle motion or straight up and down cant afford a pc polisher so doing it by hand.
help!!!!!!!!!

Working by hand needs lot of elbow grease, and will never be 100% succesfull.

Meguiars Scratch X on a folded terry towel for added bite and more even pressure. Take a small area at a time and work the product in a back and forth movement till there is nothing left to remove (ensures it breaks down and doe its job correctly). Repeat on the said area until you are happy with it may take 3 or 4 applications at least, then move onto the next section.

Prices vary hugely for a decent machine polish, you may get it as cheap as 40/50 quid from someone on here ranging to a couple of hundred.
