Taking programmes from Sky Plus box to a lap top question!

Does anyone know how to take programmes off the Sky Plus Box and transfer them to a lap top please?

you would have to burn them to a dvd recorder them play them on a laptop.

Makes sense, or if you have a USB tv tuner, you could connect them and record straight onto the laptop.
