I dunno mate. Have you even seen what a 147 looks like with the peasant-spec steelies and plastic wheel trims?

Love them. We had a White Cloverleaf ed in at work the other week.

A beautiful car! Needs spec though.

Ollie you really should vacate to alfa owners, they are gash.

That giulitta is anything but pretty IMO but they are a nice daily drive

My 147 was top spec with the 2.0 twins ark, that annoyed me how slow that was so I can't imagine a 1.6d lol must get epic mpgzzzz though

lol I used to be a member of Alfa Owners. Went on the odd meet, they're a really nice group. Generally a bit older than the crowd on here.

And what are gash? Alfas? Alfa Owners? I'd disagree on both accounts.

Another Alfa is on my list of possible next cars after the 172 goes sometime next year.

Haha the wheels are pony but it rides a lot better than the 17's.

The interior is funky too.

These usualy look p**n. Whats up with yours? Needs to be red?
Big money these tho. Id rather have the 159. Nothing in it price wise.
Might look at these in 4 years time when they are worth 57p

i tested one of these for my company car and didnt like it, the clutch pedal is too low and my foot kept catching on the carpet, It was the 140 JDM and felt flat as a pancake, so i can only imagine what the 1.6 is like!

looked nice though, was going to be the veloce with the larger clover leaf wheels and the brembo brakes with leather. had it all speced up and then drove it! ended up getting a new Black Edtion A3 instead! The dyanmic button also was quite amusing!

They sound good though. Gotta love the TS character. ;)

Are you serious? you sound like my grandad Lol he loved the Alfa and the twinspark

they are fun to drive but they lack serious power, i imagine the GTA is a ball

i went to an alfaowners meet at Trafford centre, hmm it was strange and far too civilised :p and being 22 at the time and most people were over 40 it felt a bit odd

My Granddad loved my 147 too. Although he had his own business for 30 years specialising in Fiat/Alfa/Lancia repairs. He's got a real soft-spot for Italian metal.

I like these more and more I see them. Saw a metallic red one the other day in town and it was stunning.

Ah well. At least it will have a comfortable ride, which is important in a company car. You don't want to get to meetings all shaken up.

I think they look pretty cool.

I'd pick the poor spec version over a poor spec golf or focus though....
