Ok so I know we have the competition on here but was wondering if anyone had any neat little ideas/projects we could all try out and compare. Such as the "water drop" shots. Another would be light trails using slow shutter speeds. I think this would be real good to help us all experiment/learn/use settings etc we might not normally use.
Something nice and simple that doesn't realy require any major equipment that most people wouldn't have (rigs etc) and uses simple things around the home.
I think the water drop shots seems to be the main one thats kicked off and everyone really seemed to enjoy, i might even give it another go now I've got myself a much sharper lens.
I also remember (i think it was ukaskew) taking pics of toy soldiers using a desk lamp or something for some cool lighting effects which looked real good. (I tried to replicate with dinosaurs and transformers and failed misserably lol)
Anyway, you get the idea, so a simple pic and an explaination of what you used etc to take said pic so we can all have a go and post our results...
