Thinking on downgrading to 15"

Hey everyone I'm new to the forums just wanted some advice really as I am new to the who shibang. I have 17" alloys on my Clio I was looking to downgrade down to 15" for a better ride as mine is only a 1.2 and not really int racing more of a cruiser and to make it look nice. Just wondered if anyone else would say its a smoother ride with smaller rims on?

Another one I was looking to ask is I have halogen bulbs in my car and at night I do struggle to see in my area due to the darkness and the old street lights have a orange glow which is annoying. I didn't know if I can put HID's into my car as plug and play or if I would need a conversion kit? Like I say I'm not entirely the best mechanical minded person or with electrics so any help would be grateful.

I'd go for some standard Renault alloys. Either from the dynamiques or even the 16" alloys from the 172/182 ranges

Hmm I was looking at OEM alloys just cant find many near me or at a decent price when adding tyres I can get those Fox's and tyres for about £450

They arnt the most attractive but they are in my price range at the moment I can get them for £250 brand new whereas they are around £400 off there site and other retailers so its a ok move. Ive looked around for OEM ones like 172/182 all mostly breaker yards that are all scratched and look battered. going with a black and white theme with the car so.

Yeah I just see that yeah Im gonna be upgrading on the 10th nice welcome pack too. I just phoned up Admiral to get a quote on adding alloys as Ive not got them *cough* and it will cost an additional £20 not bad I also quoted for rear privacy glass and it came to £26 however if I was to do them separate the alloys will remain £20 but they would charge £45 on a separate window claim >.< well here is how the car would look if it had tints...

I cannot wait until I can get my 16" in the shed and some 15"s on. Standard renault alloys, TD 1.2 or 3, speedlines. Only wheels that look good imho

yep downgrading LOL bit of a troll title but hey. I think im gonna go with the Wolfs. match the colour scheme im going for. Cant wait to put them 15's on a lower it a little more smoother cruise these poxy 17s that came with it are rattling my spine!

well my budget for wheels and tyres is at £500 I can get those wolfs at £250 and get some budgets I'm after black wheels I have been looking around for some black 182's but non on ebay in my price range I would get those silver ones but I just dont think it will look nice on my white clio as I am going for a black white colour code.
