There nice cars but dont half take a hit in depreciation.
The petrol-powered Mégane Trophy had its first service at 18,000 miles, at a cost of £188, yet our dCi 175 has just had its first service at a mere 12,000 miles with a bill of £266. So, mile-for-mile, servicing costs are doubled with the diesel.^^^ taken from evo
Evo bought there car in april 2008 they had it for 10 months.
Date aquired April 2008
Duration of test 10 months
Total milage 16,702
Average mpg 38.4

£548 (four tyres)
Purchase price £22,535
Trade-in-value £11,615
Depreciation £10,920
Having said this,i think they are a great car.loads of shove on a motorway and great chasis will make it a great all rounder.
And dont anyone start with the pisch going on about heavy engine/Oversteer.
If you look in the back of evo at the bedford lap times you will see it laps quicker around there than the clio trophy..
