threads on master brake cylinder?

Hi,

When looking for a MBc I find 182's have two sizes of thread on the line connection, either 2x M12 or 1x M12 1x M10.
is there anywhay to find out by just looking at it, without having to remove the connections and bleed and such?

I would imagine that you'll be able to tell just from looking at them mate. The body of the tube nut will be physically bigger.
