If anyone is looking for a nice cheap set up i can strongly recommend the following speakers...

Just finished setting it up, on a DEH-6400R Pioneer head unit...

will be rigging it up to the amp soon...but still, very good quality sound for value...

1. JBL: GTO-936e - 6"x9" speakers

2. JBL: GTO-525e - 13cm speakers

they have a sale on at the mo, those two lots of speaker would have been £85 + delivery... but now with the saving it is only £47 + delivery! BARGAIN I SAY!! £18 for a pair of front 13cm speakers!!! diamond.

The specs are good too, they equal inifinity speakers priced at £60 just for the front!!

i wont disagree, the JBLs are a bargain

but please, lets not compare JBL and Infinity, they are worlds apart in terms of quality (unless were speaking GTi series JBL, which is a different story)

Also, specification wise they are exactly the same...

Its like buying a pair of next jeans and a pair of diesel jeans...

although true

there is a massive difference in quality of parts used

as for specs, dont take them as gospel, the infinitys will take more power continuously than the jbl, although the stated figures are the same, while producing a much warmer sound

gonna connect it to a kenwood 600w amp later should prove fun
