its quite in depth, detailing is something you need to research on and there are 10000 different products out there lol, oh an di hope you have lots of money!

in short you need to clay, polish and wax the car.

as for clothes, you will need one to dry, one to buff and applicators to apply wax: http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/cloths_towels.html

Cheers for the info im not planning on spending lots on detailing!! well not yet, ive never even managed to get any further than washing my car i just dont have the patients but maybe i'll get the bug lol.

you need to do it properly

the results will be worth it all!

set a weekend aside to get it done

spend £100 on ag/megs stuff in halfords, this will get you going then look at getting some proper gear and some scrap panels to practice on if you get into it...

you will, i was the same i pressure washed my car and thats about it, but then nashy got me in to full on detailing, costing me a fortune! But its worth it, im even doing others peoples cars i enjoy it that much now
