Okay ignore what i said there, just found a guide detailing how to do it and in what order etc. Jus wondering what ppl think is the best shampoo, polish and wax, an should i use some tcut first just to touch up swirl marks as the paint is in pretty good knick but never been cleaned this much before cheers.

As you'll no doubt be informed by our detailing guru (as have I, many thanks Rich :) ), I'll add a few comments and advice passed on to me.

Duragloss 901 shampoo is an excellent shampoo to buy, many agree. I've had good results with Meguairs Gold Class shampoo also.

Always rinse dirt from the car before begining to wash.

Always wash with Lambs Wool mit. It'll help a great deal.

Always use the two bucket method. One for shampoo one for rinsing.

Dry with microfibre towels. I use Sonus Der Wunder towels which are very safe and a pleasing result.

Try using Autoglyms Super Resin Polish. I've had exellent results as have many on here. Finish the job by using Autoglyms Extra Gloss Protection. These two work a treat!:D

Try the Carlack Hand Polish bundle or some Meguiars Scratch X on the marks the SRP won't touch.
