tom tom 300

I know there are already some threads on these but has anyone tried using the tom tom 300 in their 182 without the extra aerial and had it working? might save me buying the extra aerial...

Not sure on the tomtomGo but on my bluetooth tomtom kit I have to put the GPS on the back window.

ive got a classic go, and used it without an aerial at first. it took longer to lock on to the satellites and would lose signal very easily, even when stuck on the side window.

the aerial is expensive but well worth it.
