Too good to be true?

Apologies if this is a re-post but I havnt been on here for ages so dont know whether its been discussed and did a search and couldnt find anything.

Is the offer that Carphone Warehouse/AOL are offering too good to be true.

Basically you sign up to a £19.99 a month contract for 24 months (with free wireless router) and you get a free laptop. Ive been wanting to buy a laptop for a while now but cant really afford to folk out the whole £350 ish to buy one so though this was a good option. Im not too keen on the lengh of the contract but I guess thats so they can recoop some of their costs back after giving you a free laptop.

I bet u never get the laptop tho thats the problem. My mate signed up for the orange one like that one and they said oh sorry very short supply and none left. Just beware. Go for it if u defo get one.

Yes Ive googled it and there seems to be a lot of coverage around the offer Orange were doing with customers not receiving a laptop, this is why Carphone Warehouse/AOL launched this offer for competition

me mate signed up for this before crimbo, he got his laptop straight away , some dell thing , it has vista , runs slow as feck, tbh if it was my comp i`d be well pissed at the speed, even msn runs slow.

tbh yer porlly off getting a cheap laptop and getting yer isp seperate its cheap enough these days

My neighbour has just signed upto this (had to set up their wireless network) , the laptop is not bad , HP, 1.73ghz celeron 1gb ram 80gb harddrive. Basically its a £300 laptop but they are paying £34.99 a month(web and phone) for 2 years.
