hi all, just wanted to ask...how much do you recon or if you know around abouts the kinda price you would be looking at to get a total respray of a car?

just realised i posted this...was looking at ..and still am looking at a full colour change, no dents etc just colour change. on a clio 172 . got quoted 1k-1.5k...any good u recon?
FM-696 is worth asking tbh, it's his trade. He knows a lot about it.

It cost me near to £500 for just the front and rear bumper in black gold, but it is absolutly spot on work.
For a full car including engine bay, inside doors, roof, bonnet and every where else including de-denting i was told £5k or go an do a lusty and get flip paint for £7.5k

i got a quote from an insurance approved bodyshop of 3k for interior, engine bay and exterior, along with dehandling, delocking and a few other little bits.
that was last year, and was if i delivered car stripped down but not prepped.
cant remember name of bodyshop, but they are big on the VW scene and also do alot of insurance work etc.

I just paid £2.5k mates rates to respray my E30 M3 in the same colour. Included some wealding and me stripping and fitting most of the parts and stripping the old paint back to bare metal, but they have done a very nice job.
if you changing the colour are you looking to do inside the engine bay as well? I'd have thought your looking at in the region of £3k for a nice job.
